Athletics

Our Athletic Outreach Ministry offers many programs for youth as well as adults. In our Upward Ministry programs for youth, our goal is to share the love of Jesus Christ through prayer, scripture memorization, and devotions at every practice and game. We strive to help every child grow in their understanding and enjoyment of the sport. Within our Upward Ministries, we offer many opportunities for adults to volunteer in the areas of coaching, officiating, scorekeeping, concessions, and prayer warriors.

In our Adult Athletic Ministries, we provide the opportunity for adults to participate and enjoy fellowship in a Christian environment.

Children’s Ministry Opportunities

Upward Basketball/Cheerleading

Upward Basketball is for boys and girls in grades K-8th. Upward Cheerleading is for girls K-8th grade.  Registration begins in September. Practices are one day per week and games are held on Saturdays. Basketball fees include: reversible game day jersey, practice t-shirt, CD, car magnet, scripture cards, individual awards and end of season award!  Cheerleading fees include: cheer top, skorts, hair bow, poms, car magnet, megaphone, scripture cards, individual awards and end of season award!

Upward Soccer

Upward Soccer is for boys and girls age 4 years – 6th grade and played co-ed. Registration begins in February. Practices are one day per week and games are held on Saturdays. Fees include: reversible game day jersey, socks, water bottle, car magnet, scripture cards, individual awards and end of season award!
