If you are considering having your wedding at Fairfield Christian Church, we want to join with you in making your wedding a day to remember. The wedding day and the events leading up to it can be one of the most exciting times in your life.

We also would like to help you prepare for a marriage that will stand the test of time; a marriage in which you will grow closer to God and to each other. When we look at eternity’s perspective, we hope that you will agree that your marriage is even more important than your wedding day.

Recent research indicates that when couples spend quality preparation time prior to the wedding day that marriages have a much higher probability of success. Today, divorce proceedings are almost as common as wedding ceremonies. With God’s help, we will change that trend with a process that has been implemented to help you look at your future relationship from God’s perspective.

During the preparation time, we will focus on your marriage. We will give you valuable tools to help prepare you for a lifetime relationship with the love of your life.

What is involved in preparing for marriage at Fairfield Christian Church?

A six month process, where you will be strengthened and encouraged in your relationship with God and your future spouse.

• Premarital teaching, using the Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts DVD series with other couples in a classroom setting.

What facilities are offered at Fairfield Christian Church?

Fairfield Christian Church has two areas that can be used for weddings. The Chapel will seat around 100 to 130. The Worship Center will seat up to 1200. Very small weddings can be held in the Fireside Room or, weather permitting, outside in the courtyard.

There are also two spaces that can be used for receptions. The Family Life Center will hold at least 300, depending on your seating arrangements. The Connections Café will seat around 75.

Fees range from $200 to over $600 depending on which spaces you choose and which services you need. This will be discussed in detail with the wedding coordinator. The deposit is $75.
