Midweek
One of our main goals at Fairfield is to make disciples! This can take place in the following ways:
- Connecting with an ABF, a Home Group or both
- Individualized mentoring in gender specific groups of two, three or four
- Involvement in midweek classes
Most midweek classes take place on Wednesday nights between Labor Day and Memorial Day. There are also short-term classes and support groups that can meet on other days of the week as well.
There are typically midweek classes on topics such as books of the Bible, New Testament or Old Testament overviews, finances, Divorce Care, etc. Each class ranges between eight to 13 weeks in length.
If you have any questions about any of the Midweek Classes please contact Teresa Sullivan or call 740.654.0099.

Other mid-week classes at Fairfield Christian Church
Financial Peace University
David Miller – Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. – Room 510
A 13-week video series designed to teach families to get and stay out of debt. More than 70 % of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. Over 35 % of Christian marriages end in divorce, and money problems are the number one cause. Financial Peace University is biblically based and it teaches you to eliminate debt, build wealth, and give like never before.
On average, families reduce their debt by $5,300 and save $2,700 in just 91 days. Most financial programs are boring, confusing and monotonous. Financial Peace is highly entertaining, with a unique combination of humor, informative financial advice, and biblical messages.
Topics cover cash flow planning, dumping debt, saving, giving and more. Kits are $100. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required. No childcare.
GriefShare
George & Julie Barnes – Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. – Room 507
If you’ve lost a family member or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have questions about things you’ve never faced before. GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each session has three elements: a video seminar, group discussion, and a workbook for personal study between meetings.
You can attend the GriefShare group at any session. Each is “self-contained,” so you do not have to attend in sequence. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin. www.griefshare.com No childcare.

- How to maintain a mutually fulfilling relationship.
As with our other midweek classes, the instructors are volunteers. There is a fee for the materials which include the His Needs, Her Needs book, four workbooks, CDs and more. The fee is $139. Half the payment is due with your registration and the other half is due by the second class. Class size is limited to 12 couples.
