Volunteer Opportunities
Bulletin Boards
KQ bulletin boards often change weekly. We are always looking for creative minds to give an hour or two of their time each week to update our bulletin boards.
Phone Calls
Occasionally we need outgoing people who will help follow up on correspondence we send out with a phone call. If God has given you a gift of gab, then we want you!
Mailings
We like to keep our team members and parents informed of all we do in KidsQuest. This involves a good bit of correspondence via mailings. Sometimes this requires cutting “puzzle” letters or cutting postcards. Time is also needed stuffing envelopes and attaching labels. If this sounds like a task you’d be good at, give us a call.
At-home miscellaneous
From time to time we have big projects that require intricate cutting, or gluing, or arranging (we are the children’s department!). This is a perfect “job” for stay-at-home moms who want to help out during nap time.
Registration Desk
This is the front line of our ministry. These folks welcome new families and help members with questions or concerns anytime Preschool Ministries is in session.
A once a month commitment is required.
Classroom Team Member
These Team Members work directly with our children leading them in planned activities that are provided by the KidsQuest staff each week. Once a month, twice a month, 3 months or one year commitment! You name it we can accommodate it in this area of service.
Curriculum Coordinators
This team meets in the Resource Room several days a week to prepare lesson plans, cut out and assemble crafts or organize activities for the upcoming week’s lessons. You may choose to be here one day a week or several times a week in this position. You can even take projects home to work on them!
