Top Ten Places to Serve in KQ
Number 10
Nursery – Our nurseries are a great place to start your time serving in KidsQuest. Our nurseries serve children under age 2 and are led by Julie Van Meter our Nursery Coordinator. Many of our new families to Fairfield Christian Church have young children and are blessed to learn that we have a place that enables them to go to church! Our nursery team is excited to grow-we have new kids show up every week.
Number 9
Teachers – The teachers are an extremely vital part of the KidsQuest ministry. They prepare lessons, pray for the children they teach and help children grow in their relationship with Christ. KidsQuest is always looking for servant leaders who have the gift of teaching.
Number 8
Volunteer office assistants – It takes a lot of work to make KidsQuest run efficiently. Tasks in the office are vital to the ministry to children and their families. The KQ office team needs people who enjoy the office atmosphere to volunteer a couple hours a week to assist in preparing mailings, working on bulletin boards, laminating and making copies.

No Boundaries Ministry – The special needs ministry at Fairfield Christian Church needs volunteers to be a “buddy” to a child. This wonderful opportunity allows a person to teach a special child about God on a one on one basis. As you partner with parents, you can watch this child grow and blossom into a servant for Christ. Classroom Assistants – Help prepare for Sunday mornings by reviewing the lesson and praying over the classroom. The assistant will be a support to the lead teacher and help lead children on the Quest.

Event Planners – This work is for the organizer. If your socks are organized by color or alphabetical order according to the location or purchase, then give KQ a call! There are a lot activities which take place at FCC and it takes time to plan each. We would love to have your help in making these events spectacular and get your ideas on better ways to get the word out to others. This can include helping with mailings, bulletin boards, posters, and other creative ideas. Let us know if you are right for the job.

ClubHouseK3 – ClubHouseK3 is the worship ministry for Kindergarten through 3rd graders. You can take part in a live drama, lead a small group, sing and dance with children or work with various multimedia items. This ministry meets during second service in Room 461.
Number 3
Large Group Leaders – Are you the life of the party everywhere you go? Are you the storyteller of the group? Then we have the place for you. One time a month you can join the Large Group Team to share a story with Preschool or Grade School children on Sunday mornings. We provide the stories, outlines, and the materials and you provide the creativity and fun! This is a great way to make an impact on children.
Number 2
Registration Desk – Come join our Preschool and Grade School Registration Desk Teams. Volunteers are placed on teams that cover each service. The Registration Desk attendants act as greeters, problem solvers and assist new families to find their way around the church. If you use whitening toothpaste or know how to smile, this may be the place for you.
Number 1
Highway 45: While on the Quest it is inevitable that children must eventually travel on the Highway! Highway 45 is that place where 4th and 5th graders have the opportunity to move into a deeper relationship with Christ. We need your help to train these young warriors to take the high road. You could be part of the live band, share the message with children, run the sound board, or just hang out and play games. The 4th and 5th graders have a lot of fun. Come check it out!
