“It was a God-sized project and God blessed because we did what He asked,” Pastor Bill Lavely.

Only by Gods grace:

• A total of 1,232 volunteers, which was the largest volunteer project every taken on by our Church family, packed 233,280 meals.  We have learned that those meals are heading for Haiti to be distributed by mission partners of FMSC.
• This project grew our faith in what God could accomplish, just by our making ourselves available.  The volunteer turnout stretched into the community and blessed many who had the opportunity to participate.
• These meals should feed close to 640 children for a whole year.  The cost of those meals was $ 38,000.00 and that money was generously raised as well from compassionate community and church members, who saw the benefit of such a project.

Fact: This is something we want to do again.

Feed My Starving Children is located in St. Paul, Minnesota, and is dedicated to feeding God’s starving children hungry in body and spirit by preparing and delivering prepackaged meals all around the world.

What Next:

This was bigger than Fairfield Christian Church and it is our vision to see this a Lancaster area event, with the local body of Christ participating in sending even more meals.
