Leadership Training Camp

Dates: June 7 – 16

Deadline for Participation: April 1, 2010

Team Size and make-up: 8-12 persons to fill the team. Anyone is welcome, but anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Project: Our team will help the Family Life ministry team by ministering to the children of the attending families at the leadership camp. We are planning on around 40 – 50 kids ranging from infant to 16 years of age. The leadership camp runs June 9 through the 13th.  Every year the most strategic thing that we do is our leadership training camp that we do for our Family Life leadership couples who come from all over Ukraine.  Being that we are “Family Life” we encourage them to come with their children, but it is always a challenge to come up with a Biblical, inspiring, challenging, interesting and fun program for kids of all ages. We are often “overloaded” as we try to minister to the leaders and also to their kids.

The team from FCC would be certain that they were investing in many future pastors, evangelists and ministers of the gospel in Ukraine and quite possibly to other Russian speaking countries. Plus they would be freeing Cymp and me and our team here to be totally focused on what we want to impart to their parents during our short time together.

During the project we would also want the FCC team to interact with our volunteer leaders in different settings so that they would have the opportunity to get to know some of them and share things that God has taught them; especially if it has to do with marriage, family, child training, etc. There would also be opportunities to share testimonies and possibly do some teaching on child training or other related family issues.

Cost: $2000 per person
